On Friday, October 9, four delegates from The Perse School attended the CamSTAR NQT Conference at Hinchingbrooke School.
Among the speakers were Paddy Winter (CamSTAR Coordinator for Hinchingbrooke School), presenting new ways in which research could be disseminated, and Sue Brindley (Senior Lecturer in Education, University of Cambridge) promoting the role of collaboration in educational research. Much of the discussion at the conference centered around the use of data in classroom-based research and the need for more teachers to become involved in research.
Among the delegrates were Dr Fred Jayatilaka, Dr Roxanna Lynch and Ms Anna West, who will all be conducting action research projects at The Perse School later this year.
