Engaging with Sources

Miss Lizzie Moss recently completed a research project, which aimed to support her year 9 Ancient History students.  In her words, “At the age of thirteen, it isn’t easy to sit and read an ancient source (even one kindly translated for you into English)”.  Presented with a challenge that many teachers face, Lizzie set about designing and testing a series of learning activities to promote engagement with sources among her students.  You can read more of her insights below:
