This week saw the launch of the Induction Research Projects of staff joining the school in 2015/16. Induction projects offer colleagues an opportunity to pursue classroom-based research into an area of their choice. Over the years it has proved to be an excellent source of new ideas of departments and the school as a whole. The new projects were launched yesterday with a training session on forming an effective research question. Leading by example, Dr Fred Jayatilaka, Dr Roxanna Lynch and Ms Anna West all presented their initial ideas (inspired by the NQT Conference in October 2015) and discussed some of the methods that they intended to use.
