To achieve the highest marks in IGCSE English, students are required to write with sensitivity and flair. Whilst most teachers recognise flair when they see it, teaching students how to write with more flair can be difficult. Ms Hannah Warner sought to do just that by developing a checklist for the perfect paragraph. The checklist system proved to be highly popular with students and her research on its role as a tool for assessment and self-reflection can be found below.
