School reports are a great opportunity for teachers to give constructive feedback to pupils and parents, and to recognise improvements and accomplishments. To write good reports takes time and often teachers are working to a deadline. In 2018, a number of Upper teaching staff are collaborating on a project using software from Grammarly. The software aims to correct any spelling and grammar errors, while also offering suggestions on word choice and style. The project aims to determine whether this approach might make it faster for staff to write reports, reduce the frequency of errors detected in proofreading, and improve the quality of the reports overall.
